Children’s Theatre Curtain Call Ball

The Children's Theatre Co. holds a charity ball each year to raise funds for community theater programs. The theme for this particular ball was based on The Wiz, which was one of the plays the CTC was presenting that season. The mosaic style pattern was inspired by the yellow brick road and all things disco.
Preliminary sketches of the invite. The illustration on the left is an homage to The Emerald City and the characters final destination. The illustration on the right highlights the yellow brick road itself and focuses more on the journey each character is taking.
