Target black history month

I had the pleasure to create a visually striking campaign for Target’s 2019 Black History Month. The theme of the campaign celebrates hope, love and inclusion. It recognizes that we are a resilient community— traditional, yet changing. And while we are unique individuals, what makes us strong is the progress we make together. The illustrations featured are a representation of that sentiment.

I always start a project by free-form writing or sketching to cultivate as many ideas as possible. The heart shaped motif that became the final design represents community, inclusion and of course, love.
